About Us

Your Local Census Representatives

Our local leaders in Montezuma County, Cortez, Dolores and Mancos recognize how much every one of our citizens count!

From the first babies born at Southwest Memorial in 2020 to our 5th generation farmers.

Your Dollars - Your Community

We all pay Taxes to Washington DC, the only way to get much of that back is by being counted in the 2020 Census.

In fact $2,300 per person per year will come back to our local community.

If you are not counted that money will stay in DC

That money is used locally to

  • Support our Kids Education
  • Affordable Housing
  • Rebuild Roads
  • Healthcare Programs (Medicaid)
  • Senior Services
  • Preschool & Children's Breakfast Programs
  • Build new Parks and Trails
  • Mental Health and Substance Abuse programs
  • Low income Rental Assistance
  • Economic Development and New Business Startups

How to Connect

Volunteers will be available beginning on March 12th 2020

@ City Hall, Town Hall, and every library throughout the County

They will make it easy for you to self-respond to the Census online.

That way you won't have census takers knocking on your door.
